In the last few days, I've stuffed 76 of my mini dolls, the little 2 1/2 inch dolls I make. I usually do this kind of work while I'm watching the Buffalo Sabres or Bills on TV. When the Christmas shopping season comes, I have a hard time keeping up with the demand on these because they make great stocking stuffers. Kids like them because they are so cute and can fit in their hands. I turn some of the mini dolls into frig magnets. This year, if I have time, I may make some mini doll pins for the first time. If you are looking for stocking stuffers, check these out!

2011 has been a strange year for Joelle's Dolls. Overall, I've had poor sales at the arts & craft shows we've been at - much worse than 2010. But my Etsy online shop sales have been twice as good as last year. I'm not sure how to explain that, but I'm sure thankful that Al Gore invented the Internet.
I do know that it is tough to sell handmade dolls in a bad economy.
