Joelle's dolls are all designed and handmade by me. No two dolls are the same. My original characters include angels, brides and grooms, ballerinas and bikers, cowboys and farmers, mermaids, nuns, princesses, pirates and punk rockers, and witches.
These one of a kind cloth dolls are all about 9-inches tall. The bodies are made from muslin. I use cloth remnants or recycled fabrics to make the outfits. The dolls are stuffed with polyester fiberfill. Most have hair made from yarn.
Many of the dolls have accessories that include hats, beaded jewelry, ribbon, buttons.
I make a line of dress-up dolls that have clothing that is easy to put on and take off. Extra outfits can be purchased for the dress up dolls. The dress up dolls are especially popular with children.
Many of my character dolls wear fancy outfits that are not removable.
